A name dreamed up in childhood.
The name came long before the studio. It was dreamed up in childhood, around the age of twelve, for an imagined label of silk wedding dresses, born of a love of Mikado silk and the quiet symbolism of tying the knot, two lives coming together as one.
That image stayed. Silk for the beauty of the day, the knot for the promise beneath it. In time it grew into something larger than a single dress: a luxury planning studio, established in 2020, devoted to the whole of a celebration rather than one part of it.
Today we are a small studio by design, led by Ore, our lead planner, so that every celebration is held closely, from the first conversation to the last dance.

We are based in Abuja and plan across Nigeria, for couples at home and for those in the diaspora bringing a Nigerian celebration home. Where a celebration calls for it, we plan destination weddings too, wherever the day is held.
